The calendar of bell-ringers events traditionally includes:

THE ANNUAL DINNER ... in January

Featuring ‘the blancmange’ and the award of the ‘Bog and Bucket’, a delightful trophy awarded for whatever we think fit.

THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ... in April

Featuring a chat in someone’s house prior and actions for all non-attendees

THE SUMMER TOWER OUTING and BARBEQUE ... in July or August

Featuring well-organised tours of five or so bell-towers, where we each have the opportunity to ring at each tower. Often interrupted by morning coffee, a pub lunch and afternoon tea, before driving home to an evening barbeque. Recent tower tours have included :

1998 City of London  (Christ Church Spitalfields, St Bartholomew the Great Spital fields, St Giles Cripplegate, St Olave Hart St)

1997 Medway Villages, Kent  (East Malling, Snodland, Halling, Cobham, Cuxton, Shorne)

1996 West Sussex (Shinford, Thakenham, Shipley, Washington, Twineham, Cowfold)
