2003 Morris

On 1 May each year, at dawn - usually about 5.15 am, the Buckland Shag Morris Men start their dancing season. They emerge from up the hill of Rectory Lane to dance on the village green for an hour or so.

There are few places that you can be so entertained so early in the morning. Get up next year and watch - there are some advantages:

	you don't wake up like that every day
	you can return home for a cooked breakfast
	you have something to talk about when you go to work
	you demonstrate that you support your rural community
	you exercise your right to be eccentric and interesting.
