MVDC Local Plan examination process underway
Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) has announced it submitted the Mole Valley Local Plan to the Secretary of State for examination on Monday 14th February 2022.

Alternatively, the Local Plan, the Sustainability Appraisal, the Changes to the Policies Map, the Regulation 18 Statement of Consultation and Summary of Representations, the Regulation 19 Statement of Consultation and Representations can be viewed in paper form in the following locations:

MVDC has appointed Louise St John Howe as its Programme Officer. Louise will work on the Inspector’s behalf, organising and managing the administrative and procedural matters of the examination process. The Programme Officer is the point of contact for any queries concerning the examination, including any matters that anyone wishes to raise with the Inspector. The Programme Officer’s contact details are also available on the Future Mole Valley website.
The Secretary of State has appointed a Planning Inspector to carry out an independent examination of the Plan. Details of the appointment are shown on the Future Mole Valley website together with updates on the progress of the examination and key documents as the independent examination proceeds. If the Inspector’s findings are satisfactory, MVDC proposes to formally adopt the plan.
