Don’t lose your right to vote
The Mole Valley District Council Democratic & Electoral Services Team (ES) will be contacting all properties across Mole Valley to check who is eligible to vote in future elections.
If ES hold an email address for someone living at a property an email, sent on behalf of the Electoral Registration Officer, will come from email@example.com.
Please keep an eye on your inbox and, if you think you should have received an email check it has not been put into your spam folder. Responding is a quick process!
If ES do not hold an email address for you, a paper form will be delivered, in a brown envelope, by Royal Mail; so do take care not to dispose of this important document with junk mail.
If you are not registered to vote, you will not be able to participate in any elections or referenda. The Electoral Register is used to confirm an individual’s address, especially if they are applying for credit such as a mortgage, personal loan or even a mobile phone. If you are not registered this can have a negative effect on your credit score and may result in mortgage offers being refused.
