Terracycle Recycling

Buckland residents are invited to use the terracycling stations available at Brockham Village Hall and Betchworth church porch which target “harder to re-cycle materials”.

The joint benefice of St Mary the Virgin Buckland and St Michael Betchworth has registered with Terracycle and currently accepts specific brands of dishwashing, cleaning and fragrance flexible packaging, carex, imperial leather and bayliss packaging and Lavazza eco coffee pods.

The Brockham initiative, which is managed by Brockham Parish Council’s Environmental Working Group, links into an already established scheme operating in Tadworth and has recently been expanded to include all the schemes Tadworth Terracycle accepts except pet food pouches.

Learn more about how to get started, where the Brockham drop off point is, what items are accepted, and Terracycle. If you use facebook you can access latest guidance via the Tadworth Terracycle Facebook page – if you spot an update that has not yet been reflected on this webpage please let our webmaster know.

The volunteers who currently sort the packaging and arrange for it to be delivered to Tadworth would welcome some help – if you would be happy to support the initiative please contact the Clerk to Brockham Parish Council.
